The mission of Unlimited Alternatives is to empower community members experiencing mental health and/or substance use concerns by providing peer support, connections to community resources, and encouragement to achieve personal goals in a safe and compassionate environment.
As a peer-run drop-in center, we are completely staffed by
Peer Support Specialists and Peer Recovery Coaches
who have lived experience with mental health and/or substance use concerns.

Unlimited Alternatives (UA) is the Peer Run Drop-In Center for Kent County, MI.
Thanks to the decline in COVID-19 positivity rate for Kent County,
UA will reopen for in-person services on Monday, February 28, 2022.
Zoom groups will continue Monday through Friday, 10-1130am and 2-3pm,
as well as Saturday 9am-1130am. Masks will again be provided and they must be worn whenever in services unless sitting while eating and/or drinking.
UA seeks to offer a safe space for adults who have mental health and/or substance use concerns to find community,
resources, support, and acceptance from others who share similar life experiences.
We host a variety of activities, groups, and classes designed to promote recovery and growth on a person's chosen path.
